Verify the domain
Hosen Cyber confirms that the organisation controls the domain before monitoring is assigned to its customer account. This prevents one customer from claiming another organisation's assets.
How it works
Hosen Cyber is designed around a simple operating model: verify ownership, monitor a defined external control set, detect change, then preserve the evidence and tell the customer what matters.
01
Hosen Cyber confirms that the organisation controls the domain before monitoring is assigned to its customer account. This prevents one customer from claiming another organisation's assets.
02
Passive checks can begin after ownership is established. Checks that actively probe an asset, including exposed-port assessment, require a separate explicit authorisation record.
03
The service records current evidence across twelve external controls. Website availability is checked frequently; the wider posture set is reassessed on a scheduled basis and can also be refreshed on demand.
04
New evidence is compared with the previous state. Hosen Cyber records improvements, deteriorations and material configuration changes instead of treating every observation as a new isolated scan.
05
Important changes create durable customer alerts. Notification delivery is tracked so Hosen Cyber can distinguish a security event from an email-delivery problem.
06
Customers retain a history of monitoring results and changes, supporting internal review, customer assurance conversations and evidence gathering for tenders or supplier questionnaires.
Customer view
The dashboard brings together the Hosen score, current evidence coverage, checks that need attention, recent changes and notification status.
Customers can also use Check now to request fresh monitoring evidence without waiting for the next scheduled daily cycle.
